What NOSE is, and what it isn't.

NOSE is intended for people aged 21 or over, in places where cannabis is legal. It is your responsibility to know the law where you are.

We ask you to confirm your age, and creating an account records the date you confirmed it. That is your own statement, taken at face value. We do not verify anyone's age, and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting we do.

Aroma, not effects

NOSE compares the aroma shape of terpene panels. It makes no claim about how a product will make you feel, and nothing here is medical, health, or dosage advice. Do not use it to make medical decisions.

Accuracy and limits

Matches are computed from lab data you or a laboratory provide. Reports vary between labs, panels omit compounds, and a certificate describes a tested sample rather than every gram in the jar. A similarity score is a hypothesis about aroma, not a guarantee, and we provide it without warranty.

Accounts

An account is optional. The matcher is free and unlimited without one.

• One account per person, with an email address you actually control.
• You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself. Do not share your login. If you think someone else has access, change your password — that ends every existing session, on every device.
• Do not create accounts by automated means or use somebody else's.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. What that erases is set out on the privacy page.

Closing an account

We may close an account that is being used to attack or abuse the service, to impersonate someone, or in breach of these terms. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.

If we close your account, your synced data is deleted along with it. Anything stored only in your own browser is unaffected and remains yours.

Your data and content

Palate entries you create belong to you. Without an account they stay in your browser. If you turn on sync, you are giving us permission to store a copy so it reaches your other devices — and you can withdraw that by turning sync off or deleting your account.

You are responsible for having the right to upload any report you submit. See the privacy page for exactly what leaves your device.

Availability

This is an early product offered free. It may change, break, or go offline without notice. Export your palate if it matters to you.

Sync is a convenience, not a backup service. Keep your own export if losing a palate would bother you.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, NOSE is provided “as is” and we are not liable for purchasing decisions made using it. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law where you live.
